You seem to be using a browser that does not yet support
the beautiful imageformat PNG (and probably does not comply correctly to standards).
To view my site the way it was ment to be
viewed I recommend that you download a proper

Haven't updated the page in a very long while, not sure why, but I'd like to think it has something with a little concept called "time". If not, maybe I'm just lazy, or thinking that nobody really reads my page anyway.
Since last time I posted (has it been over a year allready!?) I've sort of changed jobs, bought a car, bought a new appartment, got a baby and re-located to Stjørdal! *phew*
New job
I have changed jobs, and I'm currently CIO and joint-owner of a VoIP company called Phoniax. I work there full-time with my friend Ove at our office in Stjørdal.
My current tasks are developing cross-plattform applications that integrates with our PBX, developing an API for integrating with our phoneservices, developing our own plattform for billing, resellers and customers, maintaining our website (not doing a very good job at that for the moment, too busy with other tasks) as well as a bunch of other small stuff.
What about LynWeb you say? We're still here, sort of, allthough as a part of Phoniax.
New car...
Or my first car really. I had boiled my choices down to BMW 3/5-series, and Audi A4/A6-series. I ended up with an Audi A6 2.4 Quattro w./Tiptronic with light-colored leather interior. I really love this baby, but I'm considering getting a body-kit, exchanging the exhaust pipes or something to make it not-so A4 if you catch my drift :P
New appartment/Location
Me and my better half have bought an appartment together now in Stjørdal, more precisely in Hasselveien 1. It's four appartments in the same complex with car-ports and guest-parkings (I don't see much of any of you, so they go unused!!). We have a nice view over Stjørdal, and are only 3 minutes away from the golf course.
Our baby...
Our baby is named "Lady", and is a six year old kitten. Well, cat is probably more likely, but she's quite small. Got you scared there for a minute, huh?
Well, that's it for now, I'm gonna try to post to my page more often now that I have Safari-support in our WYSIWYG editor :)
I just couldn't resist. After my old 1st gen. iPod so sadly left us about a month ago, I had to get myself a new iPod. When Apple dropped the bomb some weeks ago, I was allready sold. Or, the iPod nano was sold - I went ahead and bought it. And today, dear mr postman delivered it to me, and what a moment it was! Read more about my love story.

After todays happening, Torbjørn and Steinar [finally] realized why it was a good move to use LaTeX instead of Microsoft Word...
Just look for your self :)

With all the time spent reading for my exams I forgot to give everyone the latest news! My sister Hege has given birth to a fantastic boy named Steffen.
That means that I am now uncle to 5 children - Elise, Sinde, Andrea (my sister Åshild's children), Millie and the youngest one Steffen (my sister Hege's children)! Congratulations to Stuart and Hege

Today has been a very bad day, I have finished my second exam. It feels more like the second exam has finished me though. I just don't have words for my frustration on how bad the focus
NTNU has on different subjects.
This one went down the drain, partly my fault and partly because
NTNU in my opinion has a lack of proper focus when examining their students.

Luckily it looks like Steinar H. Andresen was kind enough to help me with my own mistakes from the exam.

Fixed together some nice and welcoming additions to the system.
First of all, now even the synopsis you are reading now can be written with the WYSIWYG-editor if the user wants to.
Second there is now a Smiley plugin for the WYSIWYG-editor, a feature welcomed by our private users - this feature is by default turned off in our corporate editons

I guess a smiley says it all

My first exam coming up on next Tuesday, and it gets harder and harder to read. I'm so fed up with reading for my exams right now. So what did I do? I decided to work some more on Hybrid! :D And today I have managed to get pretty decent RSS functionality, FileServer with database backend as well as the thumbnail functionality in the ImageManager to work correctly.

One of the projects we have had this year is the main project in the course Software Architecture. Myself and my teammates originally from
HiST, got a best-of-show award with our architecture and implementation of a
Khepera Simulator robot (that we named #77, since we thought it didn't deserved a name). It scored 40 points of a total of 40. Its mission was to go around in a labyrint, using sensors to navigate, pick-up balls and return all balls to a light. My website is pretty much coming together with the design and everything. I have now designed it so that browsers that can't display PNG images correctly (iow. Internet Explorer), will be handed a "low-end" version of the site, with less graphics. You might find stuff not working and a few glitches here and there while I'm experimenting with stuff in the gallery etc.

Just finished my first look on .NET technology. It seemed pretty OK, though programming in C# in VisualStudio was a bit unusual for me. The syntax doesn't differ much from java and such, but there are some small (almost annoying) changes.
